Same cause I live in Ohio, but my favourite team is the Colorado Rockies. Someday they'll be the ones hitting balls out of Mile High Stadium, not the other team.

It's all about the Detroit Tigers for me! Woo! Yeah, I know they suck but I was raised in Michigan and I support my team. Even though they can never win a damn game... /facepalm

Also true story: Yankees > Mets > Red Sox. My dad's a Yankee fan so I support his team when they play.

I'm really not, even though I HATE the Yankees I can admit when they are doing well and when they aren't. There was no better team in the 90s. Now they can't even hold a candle to that era or previous eras.

They are not a team at all, they are a bunch of over payed narcissistic a-holes who are just looking forward to the next pay check.

and FYI that shirt is missing 2 rings. One which was obtained by making the greatest comback in MLB history in the playoffs against some team...can't remember which though...Hrmm

Favorite Current Player: Probably Albert Pujols because I think he's clean and he does a lot of volunteer work.
Least Favorite Team: The FOX broadcasting team. Everytime I hear Tim McCarver say (for example), "They aren't paying Robert Cano $7 million to bunt" I feel like punching him through my TV screen. Which member of the starting lineup are they paying $7-32 million to bunt then you idiot?

I grew up with the Yankees when they sucked. Eventually, my loyalty paid off when they became a great team with decent players. Now they are a decent team with great players. It's not as exciting. Then again I'm older and have less time to follow baseball. I still root for the Yankees, but I hate the aspects that everyone else hates. Once they missed the playoffs last year I really wanted to see Milwaukee or even Tampa Bay win it all to show that a good team is better than an expensive team.

Not entirley true.
The WBC takes place in the middle of Japan's season and during our spring training. All their players are already conditioned and have worked all their off season kinks out where most of ours haven't.

Most MLB teams also don't let their Ace pitchers play either. No C.C., no Beckett, no Cliff Lee, or Tim Lincecum.
