Yeah they try to buy all the best players for what? They like to play for their own, not like a team, that why i hate them. They buy every best player to lose.

His opinion is probaly because the Yankees try and buy the pennant. Much like how Dallas did with the Superbowl or the Bulls in the NBA. When a team shells out big money just for the highest profile players, at one point it's going to turn out like David and Goliath.
Don't get me wrong, the Yankees in the 50s were solid but the past 10 years it's been all about how much cash they can blow. The Yankees today seem more like something that should be in Hollywood not in Sports.

I like the Mets. Because I'm a NYCer and refuse to cheer for a team who has a net worth of over a billion dollars in players alone, and can't win every year. And in fact, can fail so epicly a lot of the time.
