Which one is better for inside Abyssea, and why?
I have a lot of people telling me the %7 DW is better than the Haste on the Iga legs, but I'm not too clued up on this.

This is what, the 4th thread asking this question in 2 days? Koga+2 with 21% haste is better than iga+2 with 25% haste. Perfect Byakkos are better in some situations, assuming you do not have thaumas body.
I wonder why the NIN forums are so popular when ninja is one of the worst jobs in the game outside abyssea.
hey, repetition is fun ok

Says the man with 2 relics and 6 empies? You do spend a lot of effort into a game that sucks lol. I'm assuming many others are in similar positions as me and play mainly for the simple sake of friends and habit.

As an example: If you have 21% Haste in the rest of your gear and would use Iga pants, you wouldn't get the full benefits of the 7% Haste on them, since Haste caps for gear at 25% already. On the other hand, if you have 21% Haste and add 7% Dual Wield to that set, you will get the full 7% delay-reduction because DW doesn't cap (outside of the total delay cap of 80% anyway). Now, if you only had like 18% haste in your gear, outside of the pants-slot, and you'd add either item, there would be no difference, in terms of delay-reduction, since neither Haste got capped nor Dual Wield. This is old information and what I thought to be common knowledge. Sorry if I was mistaken in that fact.
So ultimately, cap haste without your pants and then put on koga +2 pants?
Nah even when your haste isn't capped koga +2 pull ahead. The only thing that can circumstantially beat them are kitty pants with perfect augs and high dDex return. Though if you're using 100 body koga +2 pulls ahead even then.

This is old information and what I thought to be common knowledge. Sorry if I was mistaken in that fact. It's also very basic mathematics. a = dual wield amount b= haste amount x="added amount" of delay reduction (1-(a+x))(1-b) = (1-a)(1-(b+x)) basic algebraic manipulations simplify this to ax = bx so it's true if and only if x=0 or a = b. which is true if and only if x=0 or a=b (if you're not adding any delay reducion or if haste and dual wield were currently at the same %) no excuses.
