Ok Who Dropped The Ball?

Well looky at what we got going on right now, download the patch today went fairly fast, then had to wait another 4 hours for the maintenance to finish, get all logged in flag the GC prereq for Garuda and head on out there with Red and Harv, buff up, enter, start to fight the battlebot inside this instance, get it down to a few more weaponskills and it is dead and BANGO DISCO SERVER CRASH, WTF where is my character, holy crap I can't log on, wait, no news from SE as to what is going on yet, NOOOOO. You would think before you release a patch you would test this out on a test server instead of releasing it on all servers, and having players sitting here wondering wth happened. Hey before you go out on the town tipping beers, and getting some dinner, why not fix the game first.

ragnarok is down!!!! and excalibur is completely frozen, although we can all chat lol

its kinda odd though SE hasn't mentioned any other servers on Lodestone having issues even though they are.

oh ya not to mention on lodestone is says people are having a hard time logging into the ragnarok server Final Fantasy XI, I could of swore I was playing FFXIV, not XI.

A bug that you can attack garuda but she can't attack you , if you die and have raise effect in order to defeat her.

I dunno how come this wasn't tested on say a test server, before it went live? That could of saved SE hours of complaining and hours of lost game play. ya 4amCST my time they supposedly gonna be back up, but could be like server merge day and screw us for over 16 hours.

And honestly the 9.95 fee they're gonna be charging monthly isn't low enough for us to have to test out this crap, should be like 4.95 till V2.0 then go to 9.95 when they actually worked out the kinks.

Apparently the full party 8 person test group for the Garuda fight was also the server load test group too! :O

2 movies down, debating about a 3rd, do I watch, or take a rest period? so at 4am my time I can try an log in for another 30 minutes and crash for 5 more hours.


This kinda reminds me of server world merge day all over again.

Ok so tonight is another "Emergency Maintenance" hotfix for a hotfix for some other hotfix, or some other crap I lost track, so as I was exiting the game I came across some tidbit of information so I fraps this here and figure someone might enjoy this.
