Queued For Update?

I made some changes to the spider, hopefully this issue is resolved.

I confirmed that many people attempted to queue for update... they were put on the queue and processed by the spider. The spider has been throwing many errors which appear to be caused by inconsistent cookies. The linkshell community website likes to give error pages if you don't have all the right cookies and a valid session.

Again been trying to update my page since Friday....

Mine randomly updated yesterday afternoon. I don't even recall being queued at that point. (I had attempted and the link reverted without updating)

Five days now trying to update, at least it's now sitting on queued for update.

Yeah mine kept regiving me the option to update, but today i checked and somehow my link removed itself. I re-added the link and now ive been stuck queued for update for about 3 hours.

Queued for update 2 days etc.

Bump, I've been Queued for update for a while now. This might need some looking at again.

In the interests of helping you solve this problem, this doesn't seem right. Your spider would surely be what determines whether or not it can scan the linkshell community? Since the spider isn't directly working through the user's browsers, I can't see how us having the appropriate cookie sessions is of any relevance? If I'm missing a key point, let me know... But I did think it through a little before coming to this conclusion. :)

Oh, and I've been queued for update for a few hours as well. I'm not bothered, but I guess it's not working.

I'm pretty sure Scragg meant that the spider which scans the community website had invalid cookies. This makes it so it cannot scan the linkshell community properly.

Strange that it's just recently been starting to screw up, but hope it's fixed soon.

Hi, having a similar problem, been trying to update for the last five days and every time I go back it looks like its done nothing. Also during this time my achievement points have dropped off.

It does that when it scans the community and the link is broken. Double check you're using the correct url.

Queued for Update 2 days. =(

The queue for update portion was borked up on my homepage for a week or so about ~two weeks ago, but ever since it started working again it will not update my title. I've been "Aspidochelone Sinker" for like a month now regardless of actual in-game title. Got killshot in pt in Dyna-Tav tonight and wanted badly to update the title... alas, I'm still Aspid Sinker. :( Everything else seems to be updating correctly though.

Edit: Sorry bout the necro-bump, I just did a search for "title not updating" and had found this thread which seemed relevent. I guess it was an old issue though :(

Your Linkshell Community Site says Aspi Sinker so its not a problem with FFXIAH.
