I am getting right along at building my BRD.
With that said I already now have double marches, and eventually I will have haste.
Granted the marches will be gimpy at first, but...
With double marches and haste. What gear do we shave? suppanimimi? alternates for slots that can be replaced?
This set looks promising:
High dex for a good outside set? I think lower level mobs, push lots of crits, less need for accuracy.
And then this set for higher evasion mobs:
and then /drg yea I know:
Need 100mp merits obviously.
Thoughts? Flames? Suggestions?

Double march + haste along with a 26% haste set, as far as I am aware caps delay.
So the need for actual dual wield gear becomes less appealing due to TP loss.
So essentially the next best thing that I am aware of is crits and multi-attacks to increase damage any further.
Unless I am mistaken.

You still need 10-12 (I don't remember exactly) DW unless you are using Marcato, in which case you need none.
Marcato for Victory or Advancing? and does it last a while?

Another option you might want to consider is swapping out a March for a Minuet. In all honestly, I don't know much about Ninjas; however, I've been dual boxing my friend's BRD for our Ninja for a while now and we've seen better results from him receiving double Minuet (especially inside of Abyssea). The option might not be to switch out haste and dual wield gear, but change the BRD songs.
If as my main as a ninja is /dnc with haste samba do I still need Marcato/dual wield?

That is good to keep in mind Darklink, I am just trying to also feel out everything a brd mule has to offer me. I also have him WHM90 and can go all the way to 95 so far.
I am just trying to understand my options, even trying to know what benefits thf can get from it.
I am also interested in knowing if having a perma-brd, ninja has any additional subjob options unlocked that are not very well considered in a stand alone scenario. Case in point was the /drg idea.
I also like the idea of being able to /drk more now.
Also looking at making this brd pretty pimp too so gear suggestions are welcome. I realize that there is a brd forum, and I have been studying. Just opening that invitation.

I always though "why not have a BRD mule" so this seems like a decent idea.You still have cure 4,and na spells,bar spells and that all important phat haste + BRD buffs.Sure the mp pool is a bit more limited but at least you can ballad yourself.
