No, see the inital merit reduces HP by 15%, so 5/5 would leave you with a healthy 5% HP, which somehow makes it worthwhile to merit it further than 1/5 :D
In truth I think what they mean is that each merit reduces the amount of hp lost by using the ability so that you gain back 20% of the 15% per merit....so basically with 5/5 merits DRK would have 'Focus' on a 10 minute recast.
Are you saying that blu is a better dd than drg? I just can't see that.
blu can ws,cast spells and skillchain for tons of dmg
whereas drg can burst out a ton of weaponskills in a short period of time. iono, would depend on the mob you're fighting?
I just remember watching a relic sam compete with a stardiver drg...the drg was easily keepin up with the 3.5k shohas lol...I just really want to see some actual blues do some dmg instead of being on proc duty.

The diabolic eye update might seem like a nerf to some. Yes losing HP sucks but it was on timer with say aggressor. Kinda meh though if people merited 5/5.
entropy would be a godly ws......for blu or, even pld,(Imagine getting around 200-300mp every ws....) or any other mage job you feel like playing with in the frontlines... Ive been fooling around as drk/rdm, its pretty fun,
Every time I use entropy I get around 200mp. I use the maigan 2-4 hit scythe, ive been also finishing up CoP, and was able to solo the airship fight,(I know its not much of a accomplishment) but I wasn'nt able to solo him as drk/sam
If drk could get some sort of ability that converts mp to there attack somehow, It would be awesome I can use greatsword for dd'ing, and then switch to scythe to get more mp when I need too......
