Did all you RDM whiners forget that Gravity reduces EVASION too?

And don't you suspect that some mobs immune to Gravity might succumb to Gravity II?

Also, RDMs and SCHs will get Cure V only after Squenix strips the enmity reduction out of it for you. And SCHs will get it FIRST.

Two things:

1. I've tried it on plenty of mobs that were immune and they all resist Gravity II, Including the ones outside of any hard content.

2. SCH receives Cure spells the same level as PLD and after RDM, but that's not relevant.

Is the recast on this really 11 seconds?

Seriously doubt it as Gravity is 60s, and there is no instance of a higher tier spell having a lower recast than the tier below it.
Mostly why I was asking. To see if someone could test it since the dat mining I saw said 11.

i gotta say... when SE announced the eventual level 99 cap, i figured they had something in mind for it >.>. now it seems they just keep trying to throw out spells and such that might be useful, and then breaking job balance and completely misunderstanding what players expect in the jobs.

I'm not really just trying to *** about this but really, it seems like the level increase was really unneeded and they could have just done some major revisions to merits and ToM XD

I really see no use for this spell.
^this^ In all situations where gravity 1 sticks(see: rarely), it seems more than adequate, and even God-tier with Saboteur. As for the -evasion, I don't remember the last time someone brought a Red Mage to help out party accuracy... THF BRD or COR will work on everything, gravity wont :(

Before or after fast cast?

With fast cast 1:30?

I would assume before I got 1:17~18 with just the Loquac. Earring and Estq. Earring and natural Fast Cast.

Dunno what's to complain about, Rdm could've gotten far worse than gravity II.
Just be happy we didn't get some crap like Temper II..

Edit: Diaga III would'nt be that bad actually.

Temper II would have been more useful, albeit still pretty niche. Gravity of any tier is absolutely worthless these days because everything is immune to it except exp mobs.

Gravity II adds absolutely nothing to our toolbag, so I'd say it'd be pretty hard to receive anything worse.

For mobs in which gravity does land, this would actually be helpful to keep gravity on a nm full-time that hate resets...even if it is on easy nm's, hate reset is still irritating.

Evasion down from gravity is also better than quickstep because the fewer the people in AoE range and tp feeding, the better.(also why I shake my fists at melee rng&cor) And what dd really wants to /dnc anyways?

anyway, just trying to be optimistic...

Did NMs suddenly have their immunity to gravity revoked when I wasn't looking or are you just trying really hard to paint this as anything other than a steaming pile of sorrow?

Temper II wouldn't be crap, even Temper I is better than Gravity II. The only way Gravity II would have been good is if the Evasion Down still hit even if Movement Speed down doesn't.

The only NMs post Zilart I've gotten gravity to land on off the top of my head are... Cep-Kamuy, Itzpapalotl, and Cirein-Croin. All 3 NMs are jokes without it, and 1 actually gets harder with it.

In other news, I was actually surprised a few months back when Break landed on Ose, then grew sad when I realized that was probably the last NM I have fought that it will ever land on.

This this this please for the love of everything let me do this. I'd be happy with just 5 more merits in Cat 2.
