I haven't played RDM in forever (was my first job to 75), I used to melee with it a bit. I wanna whip it back out.

Has anyone capped enhancing magic and used enspells? If so, what's your damage output per hit on T1 T2? I forget if you have to have the enhancing magic skill equipment on in order to continue the damage output, in others words can i gear swap?

Suggestions?

T1 is on cast, T2 is on hit and doesn't work on multistrikes (aka it sucks most of the time).

I like enspells in salvage, I trio mnk thf rdm/sch and additional 20 dmg a hit doesn't hurt overtime lol.

T2 enspells were just a disaster from a design standpoint.

Should have gave them enfeeble effects, like poison on enwater2, stun on enthunder2 etc.

Here's how I would have done it:

En(element) II
Adds lightning damage to your attacks. Versus targets weak to (element): increases accuracy, attack, critical hit rate, and enspell damage.

Spamming Pro/shell, haste, refresh, regen, aqualveil, enspells, etc. Outside your MH, cancel them, zone in MH, zone out, repeat. That will eventually cap your enhancing

Shame you couldn't get Enspell II effect to activate on all attacks with this equipped:

Then again, everyone would just lolRDMMelee >_<

SE specifically nerfed enhancement weapons as well a short while back, so it only applies to the weapon now.

Or it was always supposed to be like that, and no one cares about Rdm melee.

I am curious as to which path SE is trying to take for RDM now though, especially with the addition of new "DD" gear for them. I guess they really are trying to make RDM more that "Martialist Mage" and SCH the "Strategist Mage" now X_x

At least it's still fun soloing in Campaign still :P
