Af3 +2 Set Bonus

Ok I have a question too with Rudra.
I use SS + RR + APO atma.
I use Assassin's charge + SA and I rudra after.
I been doing very great dmg, normally around 5k +
and over 7k + on piercing weak NM.
I was wondering if anyone seen a good change in damage when
THF +2 set effect kick in? Is it changing damage a big deal?

I am pretty certain the AF+2 set procs do not work during WS, though I am not 100% certain.

I don't have Twashtar, but I do have Mandau, and I see the +2 set damage alot. My normal crit on a mob, in aby, is about 200(good avg). With the +2 bonus, i see my atks jump to 300-400 avg, with crits being more. Also, your +2 bonus is 3 atks, normally a triple atk on one weapon.

I was fighting a Clinoid(sp?) in aby-kon yesterday and Crit'd for 4400~ damage. I contribute that to my triple damage from Mandau, and first swing of AF3+2 bonus combining.

Hes not talking about melee crits. It works on SA, TA, melee hits just fine. It does NOT work with WS though. None of the new set bonus' work on WS. The AF bonus DOES stack with both mandau triple proc and twash double damage aftermath so you can see some epic melee crits and solo SA/TAs.

But you wont ever get a triple damage proc on a WS. It would be so instantly noticable with a 1hit WS like a stacked rudras getting TRiPLE damage. We stack with AC all the time. No one has ever seen it happen.

Any obscenely high rudras you get are usually just landing two normal triple attacks making rudras a 6hit WS. (same for mercy)

None of them? I could have sworn I've seen the DRK set proc on a Torcleaver before. Pretty sure THF and WAR's sets don't.

Most crazy WS numbers are just from DA/TA procs on WS. If anyone can produce a screenshot of a WS on a lv 0 rabbit in ron that does 2x their normal damage (drg, drk procs etc) then ill happily eat my words and start accounting for that stuff building gearsets.

I havent seen anyone produce an example like this yet, just "i did a suprisingly high WS number on (random mob)" which can easily be accounted for by multiple DA/TA procs when everyone and their mom is using Apoc atma and either war, /war or DA/TA gear available to everyone at this point.

A triple atk torcleaver is a mean mofo. As is a 6hit rudras :P

I don't have DRK it was just one night we had a DRK randomly spike a 5k WS when he was consistently hitting 2.5k-3k that night. We brought up double attack but he said he got normal TP return which is why we figured it was a set proc. Again not a DRK, so I didn't investigate further really.

This was back during 85 cap so no AoA.

DRK set bonus definitely doesn't proc on WS.
