No Thanks! = No Thanks!

Is it just me or do people not know the meaning of "No thanks"

So I'm 75 BRD searching for merit party. In comment says "sub whm only"

So I get invited to a limit party with 75DRG 72WAR 75SAM 75COR 75RDM.

The war being the leader ask me to party. I ask him set up. He tells me. I say "no thanks"

one minute later...

"Come sub ninja"

I say no again but he ignores it again.

"come now"
"No thanks"

later...

"cor pull sub whm?"
And after me saying no thanks many times, i say it one more time.
He responds to calling me a "***"... just something i thought very dumb.

Is it just me this happens to, cause this is not the first time this happen.

The most annoying/amusing ones (depending on my mood at the time) are the ones who invite you while your flag is down, you decline and sometimes they get offended and ask a reason "why"...

I had a thought... next pt invite i get flag down. I say I'll come, just nv show up =P Classic

Or just keep saying "JP onry."

You have the ones that expect you to explain yourself why you dont wanna level sync @ lv 25 when you have a seacom saying level sync no thanks. And the ones that think that just because they sent you a tell you have already accepted.

Or at lower lv's (40-50), ppl inviting you and expect you to tank with any job because you are /war, showing up as replacement in a party and they just assume you gonna tank lol.

Or (on bard) ppl invite you to pt, it ends up its just you and a DRK who's looking for members, 1 hour later its still just you and the DRK looking for members.

So many "funny" ppl in this game :D

Nuuuu, I cant stand that though. ><; I hate having to go anon on my jobs (Rdm and Brd) just because some people cant take a hint. Especially since anon hides everything. Maybe I want people to see my Rank so they could find me if they were searching for someone to advance in nation missions. Just because I dont want random invites doesnt mean I dont want to be found for other purposes.

I was once crafting in Whitegate, flag down, as a Brd with the seacom saying, "Party, No thanks" And I continued to get invites, I even got a guy who, as before stated, wouldnt take no for an answer. He kept saying I could /whm, I wouldnt have to pull, he'd buy my food, etc etc etc. Finally I blisted the guy. It's frustrating that some people assume that bards and rdms are there for your own personal meripo purposes and get annoyed when we dont jump at the chance.

We're level 75, people. At this point, we know how to find a party. If we wanted to party, the flag would be up.

Also! I cant stand when I go seeking on my Rdm and someone I've previously partied with invites me, but then asks me to swap to Bard. If I wanted to play on bard, I'd be on bard.

But I get your point very clearly^^ I guess people just get more desperate for a single member. = ( I personally wouldn't blist them, I'd just ignore the rest of their tells.

A friend of mine has pretty much resigned himself that if he's on his 75 Bard, he's gotta be anon. We were chatting in LS chat about it once and he's like "watch this". Drops anon and within a few minutes he's like "there's one person asking for a party"...3-4 minutes goes by "and another!"...5 more minutes, "Alright!, Blind Invite!" then he finally /anon again. No flag, mind you...just being a 75 BRD.

We we're all lolling pretty hard, damn you Bards, you're just too uber ^^

Lol I dread when Im in linkshell events and Im told to flag up.

I just know that even though I am in Sky and clearly NOT looking to merit, that as soon as that little green dot turns on I can expect a blast of /tells. ._.

Pary invitse while on brd... = "Was my flag up?"... wait for their "No" and reply with "Then no I don't want a party, if I had wanted one I would have my flag up." That usually shuts them up fast... I don't seek on brd... I don't merit on brd unless asked by friends or ls... If I want merits I'll go sam and penta spam ***to death...

I used to have a friend who'd reply with, "Sure, but I dont have Aht Urgan expansion."

I've encountered this issue many times. One instance inparticular ran on for a month or so, every couple days the same guy would ask me to merit and each time I replied with "No Thanks" or "Sorry, i've got an event tonight".
A few times he'd /tell me while I was waiting in Alzadaal ruins for nyzul static saying "I thought you had an event?" as if i was running out somewhere to merit without him. He was however polite enough about it and as was I in return but come on lol.
Other times I would seek on WAR and after receiving invite i'm promptly asked to switch to BRD.
Possibly my own fault for almost always running around on bard not anon.

Most of the time it doesn't bother me much, I get a kick out of it, but "come now" lol that's just being rude.
