Ive had Kannagi for a bit now and in the first couple weeks this weapon was doing work....but lately ill be whiffing outta nowhere.....average 3.5-5k then all of a sudden 350-1k....can someone explain wth is goin on?...besides me being an Elvaan and known to attend the whiff fest.
I just want my big boy numbers back...(on a consistent basis)

Yeah it's called dual wielding. Also possibly double/triple attack and/or zanshin

I understand the concept of Dual Wielding lol....i didnt understand that both katanas affect Hi...since char clearly uses just right arm....but then again im no good with this Game Mechanics

You can't. There is always a chance that initial hit will miss. Thus causing weird damage. Chances are even with capped accuracy, this will still happen. Moreso on evasive mobs.
Well, you should be using attack food. So, that won't help you. So we should probably stray away from the thoughts of a 47NIN

If you have the gil. They are very expensive. I mean, obviously the stats on Red Curry is much better. Just comes down to what you want to spend.
Depening no the WS gear he might have a high amount of - accuracy. Inside abyssea he is capped, outside could be another story cause if your fighting anything outside Abyssea it should at least be 85+. Also I have a level 90 NIN not 47. Larryf is my other account. Food always helps no matter what level/gear you got.
Outside abyssea would rely on a completely different set. Attack food is almost always the choice. Making your point of "Using food" completely moot as to why his damage is so low.
If this guy can get a Kannagi, there's no reason for any nin not to have one.

A different set of gear? Also -ACC gear in WS set? How much does that effect and is he WS in Yonin? I believe since im 47 NIN, that Yonin is -ACC.
Seldomly use Yonnin. Tanking just about any Wyrm, or anything along those lines, I am almost always on tail. Causing me to use Innin. EXP party I would use Innin, hell, I can barely think of a time I use Yonnin anymore.
And as for the -ACC, I was assuming you were talking about V. Helm, seeing as some NIN's use it for the Attack.

I was talking about Herc not how you play the game. So I was asking him if he uses Yonin not you. Also yes on the V helm, thats a given. Be back in like 2hours to look at this forum.
Helm is not a given... Seeing as you should not always be using it.
