True. Although, I thought we were talking about DRK, seeing as this is a DRK thread.

Didn't realise that until I was told to make it work for DRK XD Been a long day at work!

STP +10 Reckoning
26% Haste
5-Hit
~450 Acc

Could make a few changes in there to make it possibly better, swap out Pole Grip for Rose Strap, Hoard Ring for Acc+ Ring, etc.

25% haste, could possibly swap Goading for V/S belt but I'm not sure how the regain from VV works here.

I think VV was 2tp / tick (not sure though)

You could swap in a tactical mantle and change Goading for V/S belt to cap haste and still have a /Sam free 6 Hit with the Stp Reckoning +1

The next trial will make it further easy to achieve 6 hit builds.

*Edit*

Now I wonder, would a scenario such as VV + RR Atma, /SAM and a 23% Haste 5 Hit build outweigh the loss of 3% Haste?

You could even get to 25% Haste with this build by eating Carbonara and slapping Timarli body back in.
There must be a turning point where a lower ammount of hits to reach 100Tp would prove better than TPing at capped speed.

P.s. If my considerations or calculations prove wrong I blame the fact it's 5 A.M. here and I have yet to fall asleep D:

Are you going for a 4 hit build or something? Eyeballing that you're way over the sTP needed for a 5-hit build with a 528 delay scythe, keep in mind Guillotine is 4 hits and a good DD has (generally) 2 ticks of regain in any given TP phase so a 'true' 5 hit build is worthless.

The store TP reckoning is still vastly overrated in my mind.

No, you just pick up a new ring from the npc you got it from.

Moving to the next x-hit is almost always the better option, that's a massive increase to WS freq, (unless it's something stupid like 20% haste sacrificed to do it). The exception is when you're at high haste levels, ie: Marches/Haste, depending on how much Haste you're sacrificing it may not be the better option thanks to increasing returns.

This is the 5-hit I plan to use with OAT maleficence +1. Undecided on the body, using adaberk right now.

Missing a few pieces at the moment, but already have the 5-hit going and it's great. The only depressing thing is that when I finish in the next few weeks, drk will still suck. :( at least most of the gear will transfer to war.

But in a few weeks we'll get our brand new awesome critical hit WS which won't suck completely!

SE did give us that critical Attack Bonus job trait recently.

It must be a sign!

knew that was going to happen, lol.

I dunno though, I tend to get slightly more procs/lands on enfeebles with a mix of magic acc and stats. Then again my RDM hasn't been getting new gear lately. Situational I guess.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I honestly wasn't sure what I was doing when I was thinking abot that build, I was just exhausted XD

If I remember correctly (I'm actually retracing my sleep-drunk thoughts now), a 528 Delay weapon has a 14.4 TP return.

In the scenario I was considering, I figured a 5 hit build would then need another:
1.5 from /Sam 1.0 from the Scythe, 0.4 from Rose strap, 0.1 from Brutal, 0.5 from Askar, Rajas, Goading and Ace's sabatons and 0.6 from Tactical mantle = total 20 TP per hit.

Of course, what I failed to consider was the TP return I'd get from the WS and the very the Atma I wanted to use on this build.. I was considering a 0 to 100 5 hit build.

My bad, that'll teach me not to try and think at 5 a.m. lol

Still, the fact no one said no to a 3% Haste sacrifice in favor of a lower X-Hit build is promising, especially since I doubt I'll never even get close to capping haste on DRK, so ty!

You need +39 StoreTP for TP and for WS, for a true 5hit build ("5hit/4hit rebuild"), with a 528 delay weapon.

Or you could do a "pseudo 5hit build."

36StoreTP for a "6hit/4hit rebuild" (not a true 5hit build), as long as you land at least 3hits on Guillotine WS. (The first hit, and 2 extra hits)

Yes, a 5hit build is better than a 6hit build that has 3% more haste than the 5hit build. (the 5hit build would still have higher WS frequency)

By the way, that's not how you add storeTP, which is why you're getting different results.

StoreTP is added as a percentage of your base TP per hit.

Also, TP gained per hit is truncated after the tenths decimal position.

/sam + reckoning scythe+1 + rose strap + brutal earring + askar body + Rajas ring + Goading belt + Ace's sabatons + tactical mantle = 56 storeTP.

528 delay weapon base TP per hit = 14.4

(14.4 * .56) + 14.4 = 22.4 TP per hit

np.

EDIT:

Here's the math for the StoreTP needed:

528 delay = 14.4 base TP per hit.

need +39 StoreTP for a true 5hit build. ("5hit/4hit rebuild")

(14.4 * .39) + 14.4 = 20 TP

20 * 5 = 100% TP
-----------------------------------------------------------
Or you could do a "pseudo 5hit build."

36StoreTP for a "6hit/4hit rebuild" (not a true 5hit build), as long as you land at least 3hits on Guillotine WS. (The first hit, and 2 extra hits)

(14.4 * .36) + 14.4 = 19.5 TP

19.5 * 4 = 78TP (This is for 4 melee swings)

First WS hit will give 19.5 TP(with 36STP on WS), landing two more hits on guillotine would be:

(2 * .36) + 2 = 2.7 TP

Then, 19.5 + 2.7 = 22.2 TP from WS (landing the first hit and 2 more, so 3hits out of the 4 on Guillotine.)

78 + 22.2 = 100.2% TP

Note: The first WS hit gives as much TP as a melee hit, and all other extra WS hits will give 1 TP each;however, storeTP applies to the first WS hit, and also applies to the extra WS hits.
