Don't need a terrible OAThrice sword to do all that.

I'm talking about the same thing... staying alive while doing good dmg..I wasn't talking about epeen Sanguine numbers. The healing factor of sanguine is sick. Its like 75% dmg healed to hp at 100%TP or something like that. If you just spell spam, you won't even have the TP to spam sanguine if you use 2x STR, and spell spamming alone won't keep you afloat is what I'm saying.

Um where? Are you talking about solo? I do just fine w/o those swords and with strx2. In a party setting (especially abyssea) if you are dying then healers suck or you aren't be wise w/meds/shadows.

can you solo abyssea NMs with 2x str though? (Not saying I can, I haven't finished my builds, but I think the potential is there)

Yes? Why not. If you are relying only on SB to keep you alive, not doing it right. There is magic fruit/flash/meds/shadows (if needed) etc.

i use P embrace to heal myself personally. I haven't number crunched magic fruit since 77 though.

Both work fine, point is those swords really not helping as much as strx2 would.

Well Im glad all you E-peeners are rating me down, point is, even if you do store tp the swords, would make it easier and faster to use SB, when soloing.

well i dont think the STP one is all that grand, because if you want TP you can use OaT in off-hand... the 11 STP or w/e from Mach won't beat the +10% WS dmg I dont think OP

Well, this is all a matter of choice. I mean you all have offered sigificant input, and I thank you for it. I'll see when I get close to my objective, see if change my mind.
