from a bit of testing this is what i got for Endark damage

DMG=(Darkmagic skll/20)*2.5+12.5

This making endark tiers every 20 skill that each boost DMG by 2.5

from what i see 60 dmg a hit is possible. maybe even 62

Ahh i dont read flame core xD thats ... odd... also i think that the Enlight formula is the same subbing in Dark magic for Divine

I guess this would possibly explain the random endark procs that were 54+ dmg Ive been gettingO.o? lol guess its time to macro in +Dark Magic Skill equipment instead of just casting Endark from Ctrl+M screen.

54 you cant get what that is is the mobs MDB or odd magic resistance

i dunno what it was I was doing campaign in ronfereS, when i was using the bettles to drain/aspir back to full i noticed after i casted a endark i got 54 additional effect dmg on the first hit a few times. than it promptly went down to 49.. 48 etc

Does' the Dark Magic skill equipment need to stay equipped for it to work? Or just at the start of the spell.

Endark and Enlight are affected by weather/day - more noticeably than regular Enspells because of the high initial damage - so you probably were messing with it on Darksday and didn't realize.

(delayBASE = 528 HASTE=17%[gear]) delay = 7.3 sec
7.8hit/57sec[removed casting time]*60[my base Endark]-28 = 440 DMG

(delayBASE = 528 HASTE=17%[gear]+15%[spell]+10%[hasso]) delay = 5.2 sec
10.96hit/57sec[removed casting time]*60[my base Endark]-55 = 554 DMG


From just this witch doesnt put the ATT boost into perspective I would say its worth it to cast Endark when hasso recast is up9based it all around the 1min recast of hasso.

just thought id put that because some ppl I saw questioned if it was worth it to cast endark at all when buffed and from just these 2 most common buff situations the endark adds more than the 1 hit did But this also makes it questionable in situations where your pdif is caped because just the raw dmg isnt so huge

if anyone has a better way to put this please do lol..

I think endark is more effective while dual wielding.
especially if you can get an axe + multihit weapon
and use the crit attk bonus + merits to deal some decent rampages

If you're going to talk about effectiveness now...then Endark is more "effective" to cast before you engage a mob, or in between pulls etc.

Also, provided that there isn't a DNC in your PT.

is there any modifiers that are known for this yet?
like casting with a +int makes it better or anything?

Your Dark magic skill will determine the initial dmg of the spell, help with resists on consecutive hits, and should also help with interruptions if you're being hit while casting it. (Although best application is to cast it before you engage a mob, or between pulls... and in this case being hit wouldn't really be an issue anyway)

I have seen some strange stuff with en-dark every so often. When i was farming stuff for In The Name of science occasionaly I was seeing additional effect 100+ from endark. Seen it do it about 3 times all was after a critical.

This was about 3 weeks ago not noticed anything since then highest has been 62.
