finally some aesthetically pleasing armor for blm. maybe...

They are definitely nice pieces, stronger than current nuke pieces, but after seeing the INT/MAB combo pieces they gave to RDM (head/leg) and BLU (feet), I will admit I'm a bit disappointed. Then again, after looking at the lack of INT/MAB pieces for SCH I realize it could be worse.

i just realized that the valkyr armor from einherjar got screwed over big time. BLM pants lol

All 3 of these items completely kick ***, in both the +1 and the +2 versions. Any complaining about them is pretty laughable in my opinion.

Legs having that much MAB are unheard of until now. That alone would be fantastic. But the same armor also offers Magic Acc and a healthy amount of MP.

Hat offering a huge chunk of Elemental Skill and solid amounts of INT+ and Enmity- is just plain great!
And having -10 Enmity on shoes is very practical, and the large amounts of INT+ and Dark Magic Skill further increase their utility, for Frost/Shock/Burn/etc and for Bio/Drain/Aspir, respectively.

Again, this is extremely good equipment. If you're complaining, it's just because you enjoy complaining.

Anyone know where to get the upgrade items For head yet?

I'm still pissed about this set. So many jobs get pimped out gear. And blm gets side grades and barely betters.

For example lets look at rdm hat legs and blu feet. Those 3 peices combine have 9 more int and get this 14 more MAB, and 9 more macc though 15 less skill. Oh and like 50 more mp lol. Hell blu feet alone are as much MAB and only 8 int less lol

Hell I have a lvl 73 helm that is more dmging for blm.

That's not how they work. You only on get the increase in damage at the second casting. So you cast once, then cast again an get 1x%5 then cast again for 1 then cast again for 1x%5

They'll upgrade morrigans soon enough.

Having both RDM and BLM 85 I can fully understand why RDM got the better gear. They need it to bring themselves up to half the nuke capacity of the BLMS

there's probably another nm that drops the seal for the feet, but i either missed it or it's not on the abyssea - vunkerl page
