- The beastmaster ability "Call Beast" will receive four new jugs:
Curdled Plasma Broth / Goblin Bug Broth / Bubbling Carrion Broth / Chirping Grasshopper Broth

- The beastmaster ability "Reward" will have minimum level requirements placed on pet food as follows, and the healing effect will be increased accordingly for food of higher levels:
- Pet Food Alpha (Level 12)
- Pet Food Beta (Level 24)
- Pet Food Gamma (Level 36)
- Pet Food Delta (Level 48)
- Pet Food Epsilon (Level 60)
- Pet Food Zeta (Level 72)

Let the speculation begin!

Well on the bright side, this creates a more specific and possibly profitable market for cookers aimed at up and coming beastmasters.

It just hit me that this is gonna f a few BCNMs that BSTs could do that relied on Zeta food, like UO, Celery, and Petrifying Pair.

Also, I guess this is SE's way of making us use the lower level food?

Yeah, it is kind of a bummer for those BCNMs. I recall awhile back that a dragoon's wyvern would use the highest tier of healing breath learned from the main job's level rather than scaling it to whatever cap was given. Think they fixed that though.

Also isn't using BST on UO risky due to paralyze, or does that take extremely good timing with heel?

It's definitely risky. It's not my favorite way to do UO, but I can do it with 3 BSTs. Just have to try to let the pets tank and eat the TP moves.

Lol, I actually have a friend who will only do it that way.

I usually do NIN/BLU x2 and RDM. With the level cap being lifted, my friends all have NIN, BLU or RDM at 40.
