Wait maybe that new Emnity controlling spell will be for rdm too and then maybe ppl can tank on rdm again. did rdm really need any more power in landing those..?

10min cool down etc. I mean they gave DRK a seal semi recently over the years. Hopefully they influence bind and gravity. For those of us who like to solo bigger type mobs... I can see enhanced bind or gravity really coming in handy.

Which will be awesome. So gravity will make mobs walk slower than before? That can be hilarious. While I'm still on the fence about lvling my rdm past 75, I'm all for this. Maybe this will drop the trend SE had over the past several years of hnm's and other big boss mobs being damn near immune to almost all forms of enfeebling magic.
Also "spells that increase the attributes of party members." This sounds like the kind of thing rdm's would get to counter everyone being able to convert, haste, and refresh /rdm. will be 10 minutes for a spell that lasts for like 3, failed. no refresh 2. rdm is a dead job

Particularly if these can be turned into aoe's with /sch. If anything this update may push rdm back into the support role they were in oh so many years ago. Refresh II, is what I was hoping for. I am hoping it will be like 6mp/tick or more. Not like it would matter much but, WHMs and RDMs needs another Haste spell. :D lol An ability that will enhance potency for Enfeebs, heck yes. I want my Enfeebs sticking better against mobs. I have capped Enfeebling skill, and some mobs still resists my spells. I am glad SE is putting this into consideration for us RDMs. And, one other thing....Addle. What is Addle going to do? As RDMs we can already do much of what this ability does. Take casting gravity on King Vinergaroon for instance. In that case the amount of enfeebling magic skill you have directly effects the duration of gravity on him.
As for paralyze II I've been able to make it proc more by using death blossom and using Shamshir with with magic evasion down to get it to proc more too. Saboteur is definitely going to make us more balanced as it won't be necessary to use death blossom, special weapons or even stack nearly 400 enfeebling magic skill to increase potency and duration respectively. My main problem here is weather or not Saboteur will supplement what we can already do vs replacing it. It still doesn't answer the basic question of how to land the spell without using elemental seal in the most difficult of circumstances. It's certainly going to be interesting though. I can't wait to see how it all works out! Sab seems like it will be usefull for people with underskilled enfeebling to land one like the way elemental seal works. This will be great for fighting high lvl NMs that resist magic.
I'd have to agree there. The chances of a RDM with 307 skill and 371 skill having the same duration is scary. How they go about getting it to land is going to be different being one may be more of a back line mage vs one who wants to use tier II enspells/death blossom for potency.
With this I'm kinda wondering if we're done seeing the making of enfeebling+ skill gear. Maybe they'll start treating our abilities more like the specialized jobs. Ya know how sch gets gear that helps their sublimation ability. I can see our new AF giving a bonus to this ability instead of raw enfeebling magic as was the trend up until now. What.
