This was posted today on the FFXIV Beta Testers' site. Thought I'd inform anyone interested that the open beta was beginning soon, and new people should go ahead and try it out if they're considering it, as all the testers will be starting over anyway.

I'll be restarting myself lol, so if people wanna try to get something going on the same server let me know/PM me whatever. Would be kinda cool to have some of the AH people to play with before my LS decides on a permanent server after release.XD

I'm still unaware about how they will be giving keys away |: Will they just email the majority that applied for the beta? Also don't pick the Sephiroth server, it'll be the heaviest load and you wont get ***done :/ I made that mistake
