Your advised layout isnt that good from what I understand of it tbh, how ive done it for xbox imo is much better.
Mixing elements in macro lines and not having it uniform is not a good idea to start off with. I can use any macro on my blm macro set with my eyes shut now If I know the 1st spell im on.
Anyways how I sugest is is dedicate one ctrl+alt row thats 20 macros to each element there is put simply.
1: Water
2: Fire
3: Ice
4: Dark
5: Wind
6: Thunder
7: Earth
8: Light
A ctrl row for example may be :
Water2 / water3 / water4 / water5 / waterga3 / flood2 / maatscap / obi / MAB / MAB2
And alt is
Drown / INTMACC / INTMACC2 / blank / aquaveil / MND / blank / Poison2 / ENFEEB / ENFEEB2
So for Ice element mine goes :
Blizz1 / Blizz2 / Blizz3 / Blizz4 / Blizzaga3 / Freeze2 / Maatscap / Obi / MAB / MAB2
And alt is
Frost / INTMACC / INTMACC2 / blank / blank / blank / Paralyze / Bind / ENFEEB / ENFEEB2
This way all am2 are parallel running downwards, as are all tier spells for each element, elemental dots always in same spot ALT1 followed by the 2 macc macros, all enfeebs are same spot along with their 2nd and 3rd part macros. Stun, gravity, sleep2 and bind are all parallel running downwards. This is very very useful to do!
Reason I originally did this was instead of having :
Freeze2 / obi for it / flare 2 / obi for it / flood2 / obi for it, then elsewhere repeat same obi macros I thought it best to keep element togethor.
Different things work for different people but if you lack windower and have blm a build like this imo is best alot of trial and planning before I came to how it is now.
