By my count, there are less than 10 of these in the game as of mid-May 2016 (3 on Sylph alone). I full expect that number to increase at least 5 fold after the upcoming MogBonanza.
As for the belief that it prints Gil..... yes and no. While it has been very bountiful personally and by far the best selection of Rank2 and Rank1 prizes, don't select it thinking that Gil becomes limitless for two reasons:
1) Probability. A T2 (~25%) success rate is not a guarantee. It's still FFXI synthesis. I went 0/15 one day trying to make Jinxed Gages out of Hexed Gages -1. You can look up the materials and see how much that would have cost you on your server.
2) Pockets. Don't fall in love with the numbers you see from time to time here. Very few people have several hundred million Gil they are willing to spend on one item.
I'm not trying to influence any choices one way or the other. I'm just offering a testimonial of sorts so that future winners can make informed decisions. Good luck!

Rank 1 (kupon) or rank 2 prize from mog bonanza. Will make many synths go from T0 to T1 or T1 to T2.

Very desirable for crafters and would-be crafters alike.

As it turns out, Flopps, this thing is basically a gil printing press and will get the owner ALL THE RICHES, WEAPONS, AND GIL! in short order. One would possibly be amiss to not pick it as a rank 1 prize, or insane not to as a rank 2 unless they seriously loathed crafting.
