As far as i can tell...

this weapon is the result of several level 75 Great Axe paths.

The original starting weapon is the Lumberjack, which upgrades to the Hephaestus (please mind my spelling if it's incorrect) which then upgrades to the level 80 weapon Atlas.

I also believe that all trial of the magian weapons will "level" with their owner. For example when the cap is raised to 85 then i believe these weapons will unlock new paths to upgrade your weapon also.
