Any Dragoon Fulltiming Angons are a moron, you can just macro them, making this best for drg as well as sam since bow on sam is silly unless you're pull for some reason.
It's the best mnk, sam, drg, and dnc can get. Thf has bomblet and pup has an animator.
In regards to pup, black tathlum is the best stat piece for when activate is down, but it is not worth 7 mil for being that situational for pup. If you had one of the other jobs that actually benefits from it full time it would be worthwhile. I carry my tiphia sting on my pup for when puppetless but the sting is for my other jobs that use it, not for puppetless pup.
As far as swapping it out and losing that 12~13 tp, I highly doubt 3.5 accuracy and 4 attack will create a ~10% increase in damage to make up for the added ws you could've used if you had not lost that tp for the last ~9 ws.
While it is inferior to bomblet for thf, bomblet is also 700k~1mil so if you had this from another job bomblet might not be worth it.
Eh, I'm not entirely sure why he got scored down, but I agree with Requim; if you macro this in for a ws on pup, re-equipping the animator would lose a good 10 tp, and the stats on this won't add 10% damage to a ws, it's just not worth it..
Thank SE for thew bomblet because people were askin wayy to much for this piece, and thew bomblet is wayy easier to get and cheaper if anyone is sellin im sure, shoulda sold it to me for 4 now its gonna be hard to get rid of this thing.
OK, time to break out the math. There's an obvious dispute on whether or not this is good for pup due to the whole animator thing. If you know anything about the game, no, you dont lose TP from changing form range weapon to ammo, so yes, you can macro it in for WS. But you gain a TP return from that WS. This TP return is based on weapon and ammount of hits of the WS. PUP's mythic WS is a 6 fold attack and therefore will give back about 18ish TP (not sure, i'm not a pup). Some ppl here are saying you can just put back on your animator. Sure, and lose almost 20% of another WS. So after 4 WS you get enough TP return for another WS, over time. Unless you really did want to have a whole +4 acc/att on a WS and sacrifice 20% of your WS dmg. Ask yourself, is it worth it now. BUT, its *** awesome for sam/drg/mnk (we can ignore DNC, i do)
I love how the comment section is devoted to pup. K guys buy or dont buy this for pup cause your still F'in gimp crap if ya arent using your pup to nuke.
What should be in these comments is how badass this is for mnks and sams and how it is still superior to Thew. ESPECIALLY on them WS's.
