This has a similar activation rate as Ridill and Mercurial weapons:
30% single
50% double
20% triple

So addictive.

when going to a soboro run, expect to stay {Long Time}. Don't worry about spending 50k+ for pop item, as plenty will drop from clusters around the area. It isn't even considered farming because you have to clear two clusters before you can pop NM. Good luck! When my party when we got drop every kill, stunning every Self-Destuct.

Oh and another thing, bring 3+ Stunners. A self-destruct or two could mean a wipe and a wasted pop item. FYI

This thing is one sexed up GK no joke. Its beast as /Dnc with a 6hit build and a good haste set you can solo alot of ***thanks to Seigan/3rd Eye. Its awesome for Sam/Rng too, obviously Sidewinder spam is sexy and beastly in PvP :D.
Toss on a Stun Grip and this little bad boy can proc stun at a decent rate only real problem is just like all multihit weapons its a tp feeding machine but i dont worry about that unless its on HNM and the like (but you shouldnt be using soboro at HNM anyway lol). you can use this straight to Hagun/Onimaru just becareful you will steal hate real easily with this GK if your gonna actually use it til 72+ go Sam/Thf it works out ok with Soboro. The fight can be tough but any Sam worth his merit will do it just to be the proud owner of this GK. I recommend taking a Cor to the fight cause idk if it still works but a Cor light shot can sleep the NM giving mages and dd resting time.

Don't use Pole Grip with it. Double Attack from the grip or JA doesn't stack with double or triple attack from this weapon. That means 70% of the hits from this weapon it can't double attack, because 70% of the attacks are double or tripple.
Claymore Grip is a better choice. The +3% crit triggers with every hit.

The drop rate is over 50%, and getting the pop item and force-spawning this thing every like half an hr means it will drop. The Self-destructs are killer, but stunning them isn't difficult when you have BLM, DRK and BLU friends lol. I really think the biggest difficulty in obtaining this item is getting people to agree to go with you ^^

It is pretty amazing for building TP on SAM/RNG; without Archery merits though, Sidewinder itself isn't worth it on XP mobs. On T-VT mobs, Penta Thrust with /WAR is much better DoT and on IT mobs, Sidewinder Acc. is (or at least was) a big issue.

With the Level Restriction removal for CoP Capped Areas in the most recent update, Unstable Cluster is now easily soloable by most, if not all jobs at 75+, so no more getting people together to do it, and also no reason to not go get one if you are a SAM, as the access to the Riverne - Site #B01 is easily gained also now. ^^
