why is every single comment posted here on how to camp the NM (which is easy) instead about how good the piece is?

well as a 75 sam i still use these. if you get these they are good forever, worth the time esp since most people dont camp this NM.

People show up to camp Nm's such as MDP and QDG because they NM's only have 2 items to drop, the Weapon, or the long awaited drop such as these Kyahan, or the Kote. Thus creating the fact that one or the other, HAVE to drop, leaving a "increased drop rate" pointless. All it does is increase the % that the mob will drop an item, but since its already programed to drop one or the other, it does no good.

just got these at 7am this morning. been camping this damn mob for ..well a long time. No secret to tell cuz there is none. 1/33 I swore that if I couldn't get these for my SAM, which is 75 now, I'd get it for my nin.

These feet are probably the best feet for any Ninja until around 72 when you can get Fuma Sun-ates. Also a great TPing piece for samurai and monk. highly recomend getting some of these. also as Dyoko said, Because the NM that drops this drops either one item OR the other, TH has no effect on this NM along with Mee Deggi and a few others.

1/4 on Sarutobi Kyahan but 1/40+ on Ochimusha Kote.

Strangely enough the 4th and final time I killed him before his 2HR went off, weather or not this actually helps is debatable & unlikely but thought I'd share.

This NM in my opinion has a drop rate even worse than Mee Deggi the Punisher.

Went 1/8 on Mee Deggi.
1/16 on Quu Domi.

Best thing to do when camping this NM is to kill all orcales/heralds in the area, when the NM eventually pops, 2hr to time the next window, which would be one hour after his current death, it would be wise to time 12 mins after every PH is killed as well.

Then after the hour has passed, start kiling placeholders again, camp him close to GMT midnight and you should have a chance.

To conclude, this whole "theory" about killing the NM's before their 2hr increasing drop rate, i think its rubbish.

It either drops a sword (92% of the time so maybe every 21/22) or the Kyahan (8% of the time or every 1/22), going by these caluclations mostly it will drop sword, people who are 1/1 are just lucky, lucky, lucky.

I went 1/12, got the drop when Quu was killed before 2 hour, no TH.

Dusk is better imo. dusk +1 is obviously superior. dusk gives the base +4 att and 2% haste so it doesn't fall behind at all. and the HP helps >.> i guess lol.
