Actually the number 1 choice to upgrade are the feet(assuming you don't have usukane).

OMG you should be using your af gloves so much! so why not upgrade them jeez!

/slap those pup who do not use af gloves or macro them in. The pup can't mistarget you but your group healer does if your puppet does as much as much dmg as mine XD Or you can just overload all the time or have the WHM miss a cure V on you next time you role reversal >.>

This is the #1 choice to upgrade in limbus. I'm afraid they do not probably increase the effect because most of the other AF+1 do not increase their effects on those jobs skills.
