Great for DRG, a staple body piece until better assault gear or CoP gear can be obtained. Ose is easy to solo enough, givin a xp pt in the tunnel a rdm/blm 65+ can DoT kite it to death over the period of a hour (being extra careful).

As Telinous said, this is a GREAT body for drg. As for end-game if you do not have access to askar, ares, or homam go with this body for TP. As for SH...+10acc or +3acc +18att...the choice is pretty obvious, no DRG should be using a SH over this jerkin (not talking about soloing).

DRG isn't the only job that can use AJ. It's also a great choice for a solo RDM or THF or BLU in a party. These jobs wind up with traditionally lower attack, so the attack+18 is a very significant boost to DoT, worth wearing over a SH.

@ Scooby; A skilled melee/nin with a healer NPC at decent level can solo Ose; I've done it on sam/nin and heard of mnk/nin doing it.

For DRG, this is one of the best non-WS body items. It's better then the barone body for sure.
If you can't get askar, and don't want to use your ACP armor for DRG than i suggest using this.

@Scooby: Soloable by NIN/DNC as well. I dont consider myself a super skilled NIN because I am not on the job that often but this fight was not hard and I did not use NPC. There is an element of luck with blasters though, if you get unlucky with bad blasters you will die.
