Assuming that this isn't nigh-impossible to get, the GIGANTIC advantages this has for DRG are:
1. Lower-level than Assault Jerkin (61 vs. 67).
2. Greater combined Att/Acc than Assault Jerkin (23 vs. 21) including the bonuses from STR & DEX.
3. Better Stats for Weapon-skills.
4. Does not require you to forgo your one (1) ACP body choice.

That being said, I think that Homam and Askar bodies both out-perform this at 75. However, for both DRGs under 75 or without Homam/Askar, this looks to be the new top-line (or Zahak's).

THF tanked and SAM supported w/ waltzes. Semi challenging fight.

great piece for a lvl 61 drg, and has a nice str + dex build for penta, i would use this until you get askar

For those who are wondering, and who don't check wikipedia...

The Placeholder for this NM, Phorusrhacos, spawns near D-12 in Western Altepa Desert every 5 minutes. Picolaton will spawn near F-7/G-7.

Not a bad piece for its level. tbh, DRGs don't need Acc as bad as some of them think, so losing the 3 Acc from Scorpion Harness is nothing. Penta Thrust will then drink Attack like water, and when you add STR and DEX for the modifiers... Very nice Penta piece until you can get better.

Probably not Tuvae. A lot of people use Haub at 75 because it still has the best stats (Unless you switch it out for a Hauberk, which is technically the same difference). I think most DRGs would replace this for an askar body or a custom Nuevo at 75, but its really a great piece for 61 until basically 75, maybe Assault Jerkin being the only up/sidegrade.

Hmm... A nice piece for its lvl yes but viable options at 75 as Kadaj said, however I can not seem to be able to find this item on the wiki?

The fight against the NM Picolaton itself isn't too complex, any decently geared 75 DRG/mage can probably solo it with skill. The drop rate and spawning conditions, on the other hand, leave much to be desired. Make sure you have plenty of time and patience for this nasty bird.
