Augment on this enhances Mijin Gakure.

I think my Mijin set is coming around nicely, with this, Reacton's Arm, and I'm slowly working toward Nagi by setting aside 30k a week to buy 1 alexandrite. I think it will really improve my damage output for when I just randomly fire off Mijin Gakure in the middle of my TP phase.

My guess would be that the AF+1 body wearers don't have Beguiler's Jerkin, Porthos Byrnie, Thaumas Coat, or Mustela Harness. Abyssea, Limbus, and Dynamis are more accessible to casual or new/returning players than Voidwatch, Neo Nyzul, or Legion are.

I'll agree with your lamenting, though, as this piece is arguably better than Iga legs even with the AF+1 body. Capped haste isn't always the answer. I'd hardly call Iga pants as a poor solution though. There are much worse combinations out there.

I still don't understand why almost all NINs use Iga pants with af or af+1 body. Aside from the Dual Wield +5% the af body's stats are pretty useless.

On the other hand pairing these up with a good Haste body piece (Beguiler's Jerkin, Porthos Byrnie, Thaumas Coat, Mustela Harness) you can keep haste capped and get Dual Wield +7%, not to mention stats that will actually be useful such as lots of HP and lots of evasion.

Maybe I'm wrong since I'm the minority but seeing as the majority of BLUs I see today TP in empy hands and feet, it makes you think that following the majority isn't always the way to go.
