It's too bad zero people who need to know this, will see it.
Never pay some random yelling mule that can be erased and your gil taken with zero consequence and yelling about it accomplishes nothing.

Pretty sure expecting to have the clear prior to paying is also unrealistic. At least do your due diligence and wait until you're in the party, and ensure the party members have gear to indicate they're capable of winning before paying.
