So it appears SE has given Dancer another JA to force a fold attack...

While Striking Flourish was only twofold from what I've read it seems rather worthless.... How do you think Ternary Flourish will par?

What situation do you think it would be used?
Edit: Although I did post on Allakazham too I tend to get more reasonable responses on here about job specific things (even though I'm sure its probably all the same people)

The same ***I've said every time this topic has come up since they announced the possibility.

Without some kind of substantial enhancement beyond what the description says, this ability will never see any use by good players.

I'm not even a DNC and I see how 50% rate of critting + the double attack from Striking demolishes this flourish.

Striking Flourish is already useless, adding another attack doesn't suddenly make it better than Climactic.

Waste of development time.

Go Go one time triple attack!

Hey it could have been worse, they could have actually given us something that the player base suggested that was worth using. I just hope the animation is cool looking, that will make it worth using right? RIGHT?!?

There was a disclaimer at the bottom saying things were subject to change from now until the update, so maybe if enough people tell SE how completely worthless this will be maybe they will put it in flourish IV or make it just a job trait.

You know what situation i would use it in? Triple Attack > Wasp Sting. Triple the poison for the win.

if i like that DAT i'll just switch the animation with one of my other flourishes, thats the only way it would be ever used for me.

Why do they keep attempting to add more ways for dancers to do damage?

Can we focus on what the job is all about, and not pretend it's a DD please?

Yup..I think also it will most likely be a waste sadly. I was hoping for a new dance or that TP ability thing they mentioned..oh welll :/

Because there isn't a piece of gear to force a crit on a WS?

That, and the fact at best, you'd get maybe 7 attack otherwise for DNC.

I should have been more clear with saying "non-crit WS" but yeah.
Each additional hit is probably adding somewhere between 150-200 dmg, compared to climactic which takes a 1.5k dmg ws and turns it into a 5k+ dmg ws (900 dmg ws into a 3k dmg ws outside)

Assasssin's charge is horrible :(

It only adds 2 hits to evis and DE, it's really good for rudras though.

I think if you miss one of your hits and DA/TA procs, you can make up for that miss with multi-attacks.

In that case, there's about a 22% chance that Assasin's Charge will make up for a miss!

I'd like to know what exactly you THINK DNC is all about Kiaru? cause i highly doubt someone wants to solo as dnc and kill as slow as possible. which is where the dd aspect of it comes from.

Job timers? already been through that ***1 million times. so that's out. what else is there?

I also think SE should try and add things more "dancer-ish" like new sambas, new waltzes (Raise ?), new steps or even a new jig !

Adding a triple attack flourish III makes no sense imo. The buff on Climactic was spot on, but made Striking completely useless (longer timer, crit rate only 50% compared to forced crit).

Ternary seems to be just Striking+1, and seriously, I doubt people will waste FMs for this JA.

And of course, cap 95 and still no Regain ... maybe at 99 !
