Just learned that Angry Grandpa died. Really hit me hard because it's almost the third Christmas without my dad, and his son's words and feelings really resonated with me hard. I'm going to be a mess for a few days.

Yeah that piece is cheap enough also. I wouldn't want a favorite gun as a concealed and carry because if you are involved in any issues, the cops will take the gun and tag stamp it.
One thing I found out this year, if you work seasonal part time at Bass Pro they give you heavy discounts. Have friends that did it to buy kayaks and guns.

...I'm suddenly that much more upset that Pittsburgh-born ***'s has a stranglehold on sporting goods around here. ***'s is pretty decent and all but I'd happily do seasonal retail for a bit of extra cash and a good discount on stuff.
